SPORTNNL: Kumaga delighted with Lobi Stars winning start to new season

 Lobi Stars forward, Suur Kumaga, has expressed happiness over his team’s positive start to the 2025-26 Nigeria National League, NNL, season.

The Pride of Makurdi defeated City FC by a lone goal in their season’s opener in Lafia on Sunday

Kumaga netted the deceive goal for the home team.

He acknowledged the tactical brilliance of coach Bala Abubakar in the game.

“I’m loving the way coach Abubakar Bala has set things up,” Kumaga told the club’s media.

“His tactics really suited my style of play and I’m glad we got the season off to a winning start.”

Lobi Stars will take on Kada Warriors in a matchday two fixture this weekend.
