HONOURABLE AKINOLU YEKINI URGES AYOBO-IPAJA RESIDENTS TO VOTE HON. LUKMAN AGBAJE AND ALL APC CANDIDATE IN JULY 12 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS

 

In a passionate address to community members and party loyalists, Honorable Akinolu Yekini, popularly known as YK Garden, has called on all residents of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) to come out en masse and vote for  Hon. Lukman Agbaje and all candidates of the All-Progressive Congress (APC) in the upcoming local government elections scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Speaking during an interview with Communitywatch, Hon. Yekini emphasized the importance of continuity in governance and the need to consolidate on the progress already made under the APC-led administration in the state and local levels.

“This is not the time to be complacent. We must secure our wards and polling units for APC. We have seen development, empowerment, and progress under the APC. Let’s not gamble with our future,” Hon. Yekini said to thunderous applause in the interview.

YK Garden, who has been a long-time grassroots mobilizer and philanthropist in the Ayobo-Ipaja area, also used the opportunity to commend the performance of  Hon. Bisi Yusuf, and encouraged the people to replicate such support at the local level.

He further reiterated that voting for APC candidates in the local council elections will ensure alignment with the state government and bring more dividends of democracy to the community, including road infrastructure, youth empowerment, security initiatives, and education reforms.

The gathering saw a large turnout of residents, youth groups, market leaders, and party stakeholders who pledged their loyalty and commitment to the APC family.

As the countdown to the local government election continues, Hon. Yekini urged everyone to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), educate others about the voting process, and reject apathy.

“We are the strength of our party. Let’s prove it at the polls on July 12. Ayobo-Ipaja must remain APC!” he concluded.
