HONOURABLE YEKINI AKINOLU CALLS FOR UNITY AND COMPASSION IN EID MUBARAK MESSAGE TO NIGERIANS.

 

As Muslims across Nigeria join the global community in celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr, Honourable Yekini Akinolu has extended his heartfelt greetings to the nation, emphasizing the values of unity, compassion, and gratitude. 

 

In his Eid message, Hon. Akinolu commended Muslims for their dedication throughout the month of Ramadan, highlighting the spiritual discipline of fasting, prayer, and charity. He urged Nigerians to carry forward the virtues learned during Ramadan, fostering a spirit of kindness and resilience beyond the holy month. 

 

"Eid is not just a celebration; it is a moment of reflection and renewal," he stated. "As we mark the end of Ramadan, let us strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, extend kindness to those in need, and continue to pray for the peace and progress of our beloved nation." 

 

Addressing the country’s diversity, Hon. Akinolu called on Nigerians to embrace unity, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences. He stressed that the strength of the nation lies in its collective resolve to build a peaceful and prosperous society. 

 

"As we celebrate with family and friends, let us also remember those who are less fortunate. May this season inspire us to be more compassionate, more understanding, and more committed to the ideals that bind us as a nation," he added. 

 

Hon. Akinolu concluded his message with prayers for Nigeria’s continued progress, urging citizens to remain hopeful and steadfast in their Jo pursuit of a brighter future.
