Army parades another herdsman militia in Benue

COMMANDANT, 72 Army Battalion, Lt Col Suleiman Mohammed again paraded a herdsman militia who was arrested in Guma local government area of Benue state.
The commandant who paraded the suspect identified as Idi Gemu on Wednesday said that the suspect was arrested within Guma axis on Tuesday.
The commandant said that the suspect was arrested with one AK 47 gun by troops who were on operation patrol.
Recalled that the commandant had earlier on Saturday paraded three herdsmen who had gathered to attack Guma communities.
The commandant further said that investigation shows that all the suspects arrested so far were from the same source, the source he, however, declined to disclose.
Gemu (the suspect) who spoke to newsmen after the parade said that the AK 47 caught with him belonged to another Fulani man he met at the place of his arrest.

The suspect said he was in search of his seven sheep from Adundu in Obi local government area of Nasarawa state.’He added that the search took him to I to Torkula, a community in Benue state where he said he found the sheep.
