Gani Adams Version of OPC lead by Waliu at Alaja in Ayobo Area of Lagos State, have beaten and killed a young man, Frank Ajax , after falsely accusing him of stealing car battery.

If there is one thing the wife of 38-years-old Frank Ajax, a French teacher in Ayobo/Ipala  Local Council Area  of Lagos State is sure of, it is that her husband was hale and hearty before he was called by his boss for his salary without knowing that his boss has lias with men of the Odua's People Congress lead by Iba Gani Adams on November 29 to kill him.

According to the residents of the area, the OPC are known for conducting raids regularly, rounding up innocent citizens under and outside their base and forcing them to pay thousands of naira to get themselves released and any victim that fails to pay were killed and used for ritual with the backing of the landlords.

But on Sunday  November 29 Ajax fell victim of this alleged Ritualist and money-making OPC, while others paid different amounts of money to secure their freedom, he paid with his life.

according to the deceased before he gave-up the ghost, he said he was in the church when he received a call from his boss (Baba Ibeji) that he should come for his salary immedietely but on getting there, Ajax said he was accused of stealing seven car batteries with one Olasukanmi  and they demanded for one hudrend and fifty thousand naira (N150,000) for the Battery and thirty thousand (N30,000) for his bail with serious beating with charms.

 The Deceased explain further that after hours of beating the coordinator of the Opc named Waliu gave him phone to call his relatives to raise the money for him.

Mr. Peter one of the deceased brother who rushed to the scene with his friends to secure his bail said he approached the landlords of the community where the incident happened  to persuaded the OPC to either release the deceased to him or take him to the nearest police station for further investigation into the matter but instead of the landlords to assist  they all joined in beating the deceased before they could reachout to the police the deceased had been beaten to death.

Baba Ibeji who called the deceased to the sceneof the event said he was brain washed by the OPC , he further said that Ajax cannot steal and he didn't steal any battery.

Olasukanmi in his words said " i didn't know the decesead before but i was told by the community CSO and OPC leader to lie against the deceased".

“I want justice, I want those who killed my Husband to be arraigned and prosecuted. I want them to face the wrath of the law; those who killed him at his prime and prevented him from taking care of our four Children ,” Deceased's wife pleaded.

The wife believed that her husband is gone and cannot be brought back to life, but advocated that his innocent blood must be used as agent of change to protect lives of innocent people and curtail the excesses of unguided and unguarded groups like OPC which benefit from the lapses of the government at all levels to the detriment of the people.

Prophet Dr. G.K. Samuel , the Pastor of the deceased, said they are waiting for the government and human rights groups to help bring the culprits to justice and also use the medium to seek the assistance of well meaning Nigerians to come to the aides of the deceased wife and four Children.
